SocialHook Technologies Private Limited

Effective Date: February 26, 2026 | Last Updated: February 26, 2026 | Platform: Android

OUR COMMITMENT TO CHILD SAFETY

SocialHook Technologies Private Limited is unconditionally committed to the safety, protection, and wellbeing of children and minors on our platform. The protection of children from sexual abuse, exploitation, grooming, and any form of harm is our highest priority — above all commercial considerations.

We recognise that as an operator of a social media platform in India, we carry a significant legal, moral, and ethical responsibility to ensure that our platform is never used to harm, exploit, or endanger any child or minor, directly or indirectly.

This document sets out our formal published standards against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) in compliance with Google Play's Child Safety Standards Policy and applicable Indian law including the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (POCSO), the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.

ZERO TOLERANCE NOTICE: SocialHook maintains a strict zero tolerance policy toward any content, behaviour, or activity that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children. Violations result in immediate permanent account termination and mandatory reporting to law enforcement authorities.

1. MINIMUM AGE POLICY

SocialHook is strictly intended for users who are 16 years of age or older. We do not permit anyone under the age of 16 to register for or use the SocialHook platform under any circumstances.

Age Verification Measures:

  • All users must confirm their date of birth during registration
  • Users must confirm they are 16 years of age or older before account creation is permitted
  • KYC verification including government-issued identity documents such as PAN card or Aadhaar card is mandatory before any financial withdrawal, which further verifies user age
  • Accounts found to belong to users under 16 will be immediately suspended and all associated data deleted

Underage Account Discovery: If we discover or have reasonable grounds to believe that a registered user is below the age of 16, we will:

  • Immediately suspend the account without prior notice
  • Delete all personal data associated with that account within 30 days
  • Forfeit any pending earnings in that account's wallet
  • Block re-registration from the same device or identity credentials

Parents and guardians who believe their child under 16 has registered on SocialHook must contact us immediately at socialhook4@gmail.com. We will take action within 24 hours of receiving such a report.

2. ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY — CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE AND EXPLOITATION (CSAE)

SocialHook maintains an absolute, unconditional, and non-negotiable Zero Tolerance policy toward all forms of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) and Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (CSAE).

Under no circumstances, for no reason whatsoever, and with no exceptions will SocialHook permit, allow, host, transmit, store, or tolerate any content, communication, or behaviour that constitutes child sexual abuse or exploitation.

This policy applies to all users, creators, community administrators, webmasters, and any other individual or entity accessing SocialHook regardless of their account status, subscription tier, or history on the platform.

Definition of CSAE for the Purposes of This Policy:

  • Any visual, written, audio, or digital content that sexually depicts, exploits, or abuses a minor (person under 18 years of age)
  • Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) in any form including photographs, videos, illustrations, animations, or AI-generated content
  • Content that sexualises minors even if not explicitly pornographic in nature
  • Grooming behaviour — any communication intended to establish trust with a minor for the purpose of sexual exploitation
  • Solicitation of minors for sexual purposes
  • Sharing, distributing, or linking to CSAM hosted on any external platform
  • Any content or behaviour that facilitates trafficking, exploitation, or abuse of children

3. PROHIBITED CONTENT AND BEHAVIOUR
